Akitoshi Makita joined Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC, where he was involved in statutory audits of various businesses and IPO support. Later, engaged in M&A advisory, financial due diligence, and corporate value evaluation in the Financial Advisory Services Division. After reorganization, he transferred to Deloitte Tohmatsu Financial Advisory LLC, where he has been involved in M&A advisory services mainly for mid-cap deals in Japan, and has achieved a wealth of successful M&A transactions.
In 2018, he established M&A DX Inc. to respond to various needs more flexibly and quickly than ever before, and is also active as a Youtuber “M&A DX” to attract a new audience in 2020. He is the author of 『“Serial Entrepreneur/Serial Entrepreneur”』(Gentosha).
